Gone Girl really started something didn't it. I love a thriller and Gone Girl is one that I found unforgettable. It really started a trend for thrillers and many have followed with much hype. Some good and some bad. The Woman in the Window by A. J. Finn sat on my TBR pile for a long time. I was worried that it would be one of those books thats all hype.
Anna Fox likes to know what is going on in her neighbourhood, she spends her days watching her neighbours from her window. One evening she hears a scream and Anna sees something she is not supposed to.
An agoraphobic with unhealthy appetite for merlot, Anna is not the most reliable witness. What follows is a fast-paced page turner and while I guessed where it was heading it was still a very enjoyable read.
What has been your favourite post-Gone Girl read, I'd love to hear in the comments below.
