Until Next Weekend by Rachel Marks

Monday mornings seem to come around so fast don’t they! I hope you had a lovely weekend. It was quite a bookish one for me, I finished three books all of which I loved. Today, I’m going to tell you about Until Next Weekend by @rachelmarksauthor. See picture 2 for synopsis.
📖
When this one I arrived I was expecting a nice, easy and fun read; which it is but it is also quite emotional in places. (I will put a couple of trigger warnings in the comments). It kind of took me a bit by surprise as it’s one of those books that gave me more than I was expecting.
📖
The story is told from Noah’s perspective, which I really liked. There were times I wanted to hug him, times he worried me and times I just wanted to shake him. At the start of the book I was convinced I wasn’t going to like him at all, but as I started to understand his struggles I really felt for him.
📖
I flew through the pages with this one, I thought it was a really engaging story with the right mix of funny and heartbreaking moments. Rachel tackles some big subjects but I did think it was done very well.
📖
Somehow I missed Rachel’s first book, Saturdays at Noon, but when I posted this one on my Stories I had a flurry of messages saying how brilliant it is. I’ll have to pick it up soon.

Until Next Weekend by @rachelmarksauthor is out on 29th April and it’s definitely one I’d recommend. Thank you so much to @michaeljbooks for sending it to me, I really enjoyed it.
