Uncoupling by Lorraine Brown

I’m so late posting today but I figure better late than never! Today I wanted to share my thoughts on Uncoupling by @lorrainebrownauthor which I read last month and really enjoyed. Here’s the synopsis for you;

📖

Could one split second change her life forever?

📖

Hannah and Si are in love and on the same track - that is, until their train divides on the way to a wedding. The next morning, Hannah wakes up in Paris and realises that her boyfriend (and her ticket) are 300 miles away in Amsterdam!

📖

But then Hannah meets Léo on the station platform, and he’s everything Si isn’t. Spending the day with him in Paris forces Hannah to question how well she really knows herself - and whether, sometimes, you need to go in the wrong direction to find what you’ve been looking for...

📖

First things first, oh my goodness this made me really long to go to Paris, I loved the scenes where Hannah and Léo are exploring the city together. I really felt like I had been transported there with them.

📖

Anyway! Hannah is a great character and I could totally relate to her; ending up in the wrong city is absolutely something that would happen to me 😂. She’s very likeable and I really liked the way her character develops throughout the story.

📖

While this is a romance, and there is a nice love story that runs throughout, what I liked most about it is that it is really about Hannah finding herself and what she wants out of life.

📖

I really enjoyed Uncoupling, it was a nice and easy read that really did feel like an escape from it all. One I’d recommend if you’re in the mood for lighter read.

📖

What are you planning on reading this weekend?
