A masterclass in revenge

Wow!!! Jane Fallon knows a thing or two about revenge.  Faking Friends is a good fun, page turner that has had me totally hooked. Amy is living in New York trying to make it as an actress.  Her boyfriend, Jack, is back in London.  Together they are planning their wedding and making their long distance relationship work.  Or so she thinks. Amy decides to make a surprise trip home for her best friend, Mel’s birthday.  Unfortunately she gets a nasty surprise when she discovers signs of another woman in her flat. What follows is Amy’s attempt to get revenge and at times it had me cringing, wishing that she wouldn’t do something. I guess I’m very lucky that I’ve never been in a situation where I’ve felt the need to seek revenge on someone.  However if that changed, I would most certainly beg Jane Fallon for help.  I read Sweet Revenge by her last year and thought the same, she has some pretty creative ideas! Faking Friends gets a big thumbs up from me.  I would definitely recommend it.  I’m also going to reading more of Jane Fallon’s books.  If you have a favourite, I’d love to hear about it in the comments below.
